Asia Centre for Enterprise
Atlas Economic Research Foundation and Centre for Civil Society are launching a social change seed fund to identify and support individuals and organisations that promote liberal ideas and policies in Asia. The fund, Asia Centre for Enterprise (ACE) will play the role in Asia that Atlas Foundation plays globally, acting as a mentor and intellectual angel investor.

Nepal’s Democracy Under Threat!

Democracy in Nepal is relatively young and even in the short period it has been attacked multiple times and restored with several changes. It has been defined and redefined with the ease of party politics or ideologies. And, in this process, it has travelled from being Prajatantra to Janatantra and finally to Loktantra. More than the Nepali translation of the word ‘democracy’, the biggest fear of the followers of democracy has been the misinterpretation and losing of its fundamentals in all of these transitions.
